Dear Reader,

Over the past few weeks you've heard us repeatedly extolling our affection for alternative energy deals. This is nothing new for us as we have long seen alternative fuel, solar, wind energy, cellulosic ethanol and related clean technologies emerge as a real opportunity for investors. Last week when we published GWS Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: GWSC), an alternative energy company developing renewable energy solutions, and the stock exploded we knew our readers felt the same way.

So, today we're making a sincere pledge to try and locate more and more emerging public companies with business plans in this juggernaut that we believe is alternative energy. And we have one such story for your review today.

Completely coincidentally, as we were preparing to introduce you to a new solar energy deal we've found President Barack Obama held a nationally televised press conference in which he enthusiastically pledged his support for clean energy, specifically citing solar as a prime example. The president also stated that he would be in support of legislation that would greatly assist clean energy providers. We intend to dig deeper as to how. (read an article on Obama's remarks.)

So, what was already a very positive market appetite for clean energy and solar just got an enormous shot in the arm. As we write this, solar stocks are for the most part enjoying a stellar trading day and the president's remarks will certainly foster beneficial buzz in nightly newscasts and Thursday papers. But more importantly, the climate- pardon the pun- for clean energy continues to improve.

Remember back in the early to mid-'90s when you started to hear the words "Internet" or "email" or "chatting?" And then all of a sudden it was everywhere. We believe that clean energy is at such a bright beginning, where we are still in the very early stages of adoption.

If President Obama has his way, these early stages will transcend into something far more impactful very, very soon.

Introducing Solar Energy Init. (OTCBB:SNRY)

Solar Energy Initiatives, Inc. (OTCBB:SNRY)

The mission:

Solar Energy Initiatives, Inc. was formed to execute on a grass roots campaign, “RENEW THE NATION”, to help redeploy a portion of the U.S. work force and focus on reducing the world’s dependence on fossil fuels by selling solar thermal and photovoltaic (PV) technologies, while building a profitable company.

History

Solar Energy, Inc. was originally founded in 2001 as a manufacturer and distributor of solar energy equipment. In 2004, we founded our acclaimed solar energy dealership program to train and support solar contractors with a 30-plus year knowledge base in solar design, manufacturing and installations. In 2008, the assets of Solar Energy, Inc. were acquired by Solar Energy Initiatives, Inc., a publicly traded company (SNRY) based in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Since then, Solar Energy, Inc. has rapidly expanded its dealership network bringing many newly trained solar contractors to the growing marketplace. Our focus is providing wholesale solar equipment to our network of dealers who perform installations. For do-it-yourselfers and hobbyists, we offer an extensive selection of solar equipment and systems via our online “shopping cart”.
Our credentials:

With our extensive background and experience in solar, our team and affiliates have the range and depth of experience to provide technical sizing, support, equipment-matching and sourcing to supply required equipment for most any residential or commercial solar projects. We are a master distributor for GE Photovoltaics, and offer hundreds of branded renewable energy products. Our training staff and associates are licensed solar contractors and/or North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners NABCEP certified. We have thousands of solar sales under our belt, let us be your preferred solar provider.

Solar Energy Initiatives, Inc. (www.SolarEnergy.com) is executing its “RENEW THE NATION” campaign, intended to promote job growth nationwide via an aggressive grass roots effort. The main focus of RENEW THE NATION will be working with companies in the construction industry and related trades affected by the economic downturn to re-train and re-deploy their workforce, allowing this important national asset to meet the needs of the Solar Energy industry, the fastest growing industry in the world. We are executing on a three-pronged approach to achieve our plan. This includes: continuing development of one of the fastest growing dealer networks in the U.S. that sells and installs solar solutions to homeowners and commercial customers; placing solar systems on large commercial buildings and selling the energy output to the owner/occupant(s); and becoming a developer of solar parks bringing together landowners, utilities and our corporate resources to build large photovoltaic installations.
